Bakit po wala ang FLI sa list. 3.4% ang dividend yield
ReplyDeleteHi Unknown,
DeleteBased on our information FLI only has a 2.3% Dividend Yield.
You can check this out in their website:
https://www.bloomberg.com/quote/FLI:PM
I think you are referring to "Dividend 12 Month Yield" of 3.4%.
But the measure we are using in our calculation is "Dividend Indicated Yield" which is 2.3%.
Here is the difference between the two according to Bloomberg:
Dividend Indicated Yield: The most recently announced gross dividend, annualized based on the Dividend Frequency (DV016, DVD_FREQ), then divided by the current market price. If the security is paying an interim/final dividend, then the indicated yield is calculated by adding the gross amount from the most recently announced interim and the most recently announced final, and dividing the sum by the current market price. Abnormal Dividends are not included in this yield calculation.
Dividend 12 Month Yield: Sum of dividend per share amounts that have gone ex-dividend over the prior 12 months, divided by the current stock price. Gross or net dividend amounts are used based on the local market convention. All Cash Dividend Types are included in this yield calculation. Dividend 12 Month Yld - Gross (DV014, EQY_DVD_YLD_12M) will only return reported gross dividend yield, Dividend 12 Month Yld - Net (DV015, EQY_DVD_YLD_12M_NET) will only return net dividend yield; this field will return whichever is used by the market convention, net or gross.
Hope this clears things up.
Cheers,
Filipino Investor
